- Witness signature on forms no longer required: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Protective made a temporary change in process to waive required witness signatures on our application and contract forms to ensure the safety of our clients and to help them maintain social distancing measures. We no longer require witness signatures on forms, which helps improve form turn times and eliminates multiple customer touchpoints.
- eDelivery auto enrollment for new TeleLife EPD customers: Starting in July, a new electronic delivery election form will be included in all TeleLife application packets, except New York. Customers who choose electronic policy delivery (EPD) will be automatically opted in for eDelivery of inforce service documents (statements, notices, etc.).
- Data pre-fill within EZ-App: To simplify the online application process, this new feature will allow agents to pull information from public records in order to pre-fill information within EZ-App. Any information that does not automatically populate will need to be entered manually.
- Two-step verification on MyProtective.com: Beginning August 16, users will be required to go through our simple two-step verification process to access their MyProtective.com accounts and will receive a code via the primary email address associated with their MyProtective.com accounts to verify their identity. Please note: As a reminder, shared accounts should not be used. Primary account users can create sub-user accounts to help manage business online.
