- Paper policy images added on customer portal my account.protective.com: Customers who have opted to receive a paper policy, but still elect to enroll via our online customer portal, are now able to view their policy details and document online.
- Auto-enrollment in eDelivery for electronic policy delivery (EPD) customers: Electronic policy delivery customers are now automatically enrolled in electronic delivery of all future company communications through our online customer portal.
- Text message option for two-step authentication on the customer portal: Users now have the option of receiving their two-step authentication code via text message when logging onto myaccount.protective.com. This feature helps reduce calls to customer service and adds an extra layer of security for customers, since receiving the code by text message is more secure than email.
- Non-payment transaction history for life and annuity policies: Registered myaccount.protective.com users are now able to view self-service change history on myaccount.protective.com, including fees paid, surrenders, rebalances and fund transfers, direct contributions and systematic withdrawals.
