- Annuity pending business dashboard enhancements: Updates to the dashboard will make it easier to use and find your annuity business. New features will include links to all recent annuity business, improved quick search functionality and sorting capabilities, and additional details on the contract page.
- Extension of EPD timeframe for clients: A leading driver of reissues is the client not reviewing or accepting the policy quickly enough. To help with this issue, we’ve extended the time a client has to review or accept a policy from 20 to 30 business days. This allows them more time to complete the sale electronically before a paper policy is sent. Please note: This new timeframe will be applicable for policies that are released to electronic policy delivery starting on May 19. It will not apply retroactively to policies released to electronic policy delivery prior to May 19.
- Coming soon – adding electronic health records capabilities: Protective will soon add an option for electronic health records to help reduce the amount of time regular APS ordering can take. When available, approximately 70% of EHR requests (when records are found) are available within 24 hours.
